Coming in from out of town, we attended the Idaho Falls Art Walk and it was a highlight of our trip. When we walked in, we were greeted, offered a beverage, and the very kind people at the table explained who the featured artist were, where the vendors were, and where the resident artist studios were. If I lived in the area, they would be a regular and I would always be on the look for shows, events, and anything else. What a fantastic way to showcase and support local artists.

We went to the Ned Ledoux concert just to find my front row balcony seats were sold to someone else. They made us sit in a seat not desirable, we bought our tickets on day 1. I sent an email for a refund and no one ever responded. Very disappointed!!

Recently my husband and I attended Swan Lake performed by the Kiev Ballet at the Frontier Center. The performance was delightful. It was a disappointment that there was no program describing the ballet or these talented performers. In addition, there was no introduction about the performing group or thanks for their appearance. It was curtains up and curtains down after the performance. Its seems disrespectful to these lovely and talented artists. I hope in the future, the Idaho Arts Council can do a better job.
