I wish I could give zero star for their staff communications. I have nothing against the bank. But the staff in Sunnyvale office are lost and I never felt they work as a team. Everyone talks different rules and in different manner. One member says don’t come here, do it online and other members say it’s faster if you visit in person. I don’t know who to trust. I genuinely hope this office continues to do business in the future, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. I’ve tried reaching out at least six times over the past few days, and after finally getting someone on the call today, I was simply told they can’t help me open a business account in India and that I should contact India directly — with zero guidance or effort to assist. Went to the office on a Friday afternoon to [1] get KYC paperwork done and [2] change of address/phone on my NRE account so I could setup UPI on my phone. Both tasks were completed within 10 minutes by Pooja the ICICI representative. She filled out the paperwork and made copies of the needed documents for me. 6 hours later I get a notification by email from ICICI that the KYC and addresses info paperwork had been completed.
