I have to write in to review an experience I had today with Ibis. I've had a Ripley V4 for three years and absolutely love it. But knowing Ibis' reputation I was hopeful. When Clay got back to me and offered a free replacemen... read more
The bike was fantastic and Nate was better. Thanks so much!!
Ibis oso 2025. Disappointed to say the least. If you were wondering how they were able to cut the cost down on it so much here's my findings. Complete lack of qc. I received this bike with damage to almost every end. Whether cosmetic or not this is not how you should receive a 6000 dollar bicycle. Then to be told they have no replacement parts and also get told we'll it's gonna happen on the trail anyway so who cares is so outright ridiculous and unscrupulous as a business they should be ashamed of themselves.
Bought a Mojo in 2008. Loved it from day 1 and rode it hard for 12 more years. Now riding the HD-5. And the HD-5 is the best bike I've ever ridden--goes where it is pointed; doesn't shirk from the drops or chunder. When it's time to upgrade--won't wait 12 years this time--you can be sure that I'll be checking out the Ibis line. Photos: 2008 Mojo in action; Nuclear Pesto. (Note: Professional test pilot, not me flying.)
