The i77 toll lanes have had an objective negative impact on traffic, and will continue to negatively impact the corridor until the end of their contracted implementation period. Edit: I love how i77 turns into a one lane country road when there's a major accident now, while theres two COMPLETELY UNUSED toll lanes that could relieve traffic for everyone. It's even better when you're getting on i77 and the accident is before the nearest toll entrance, so paying ~$7/mile to use the lanes to bypass the traffic (the intended use)... read more
Grossly overpriced. I used the toll roads to get past congestion on I77 in Charlotte for just two (2) days in a row and it cost me nearly $100.00. Insane. Absolute scam artists. Charlotte needs to tear up the contract with Cintra. This is the company that thought nobody would notice they were surge pricing during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene when they knew the roads would be more congested and only stopped once people starting calling them out on it.
