After visiting the Fortitude Valley branch, I didn't think it could get any worse. I would not have come all the way here after our experience at the other branch, however, we got both Groupon vouchers gifted, so we had to use them. We enquired to see if the 50 min package (20 min massage + 30 min body bath) could be done at this branch and they told us that they don't do body bath but we could do foot bath (fortitude valley branch mentioned that so we called to confirm). I booked a full body massage here and honestly it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. They informed me last minute that no female masseuse was available and offered a male therapist instead — I agreed, expecting professional service, but unfortunately the therapist was highly inexperienced. I was really disappointed with my experience. The massage itself was very poor, there was no real technique involved and it honestly just felt like someone rubbing around without purpose. I specifically booked a pregnancy massage and on the intake form I clearly listed my problem areas as lower back/sciatica, neck, and feet. When we got in I said that my sciatica on my left has been sore. The therapist spent around 40 minutes of the 60-minute session on just one side of my lower back/sciatica. I went to a 105 min Groupon massage and couldn’t be more appreciated for the service provided, James was AMAZING knew all the spots I was feeling pain without me even saying a word and broke all the tension in the muscles I feel amazing after it. Couldn’t recommend enough!
