It was made very clear to me by the owner that they have big contracts and that they aren't worried about serving individuals like me. They had my prius for an entire week just to say that they had scanned the codes and it would be 1000$ to examine the wires and recondition my battery. I decided not to do the repair and instead contacted the competition who came to my house, opened up my battery, and fixed my hybrid battery engine code for 100$ flat. I called "Hybrid Battery Repair" due to having concerns about my hybrid battery. After talking with the owner, who was very helpful in discussing my situation, he advised me based off his experience in working on hybrid batteries. The owner didn't try to sell me anything on the spot, or say I needed his services in a fear based way, but instead gave me a very thoughtful answer that I greatly appreciated. I never got to experience their work because they provided me with about 10 min of phone consultation. They could EASILY have told me to bring the vehicle in for diagnostics, but instead they walked me through common issues over the phone. It was suggested all I needed was a new 12v battery for my Prius and that was it! I replaced it myself and the vehicle runs now as it should. Can't thank them enough!!
