Stopped in the store today to grab something quick and thought it was pretty sad that we use the self check out cause there are hardly any lanes open. And now we are watched by a security guard. You can pay these security guards to watch your customers but can't give your employees the hours they need to check people out. If you don't trust your customers then maybe it should go back to the way it use to be. When some scanned ur items and someone sacked them. What is the point of going here? The prices are higher and they are forcing you to use self check out that does not work well. It takes more effort to scan items and then tells you it needs assistance and there is no one around to help. So I left a full cart of bagged items and went to Walmart because it's cheaper and I have to scan it and bag it myself anyways and at least some one is there to help the process. If you want full service and quality with plenyy of cashiers then Fareway is the place to go.
they have a better selection of meats better prices people are more friendlier and they helped you out in a lot of ways I would recommend IV over any of the other places here in Sioux City Iowa
I love HyVee! I like the fuelsaver card...especially when I go to the gas pump! I've never been disappointed in the service in any of the stores, they are friendly, and always helpful. I appreciate a smile from anyone when I shop and their employees never disappoint!
I always come to this Hy-Vee and was happy to hear a Starbucks was being added however I went in today and I really highly recommend a supervisor or a seasoned barista be there at all times. I ordered an iced matcha green tea latte, an Iced peach green tea lemonade, and a medicine ball. Just moved to South Sioux had no idea that they closed at 11. And the Manager stoped my husband and I at the door saying we had 5minutes, understandable, not that big of a deal. That's not what made me mad. What struck me as rude is when my husband said really the said manager then snapped and said " YEP EVERY NIGHT." and proceeded to pretty much walk us back outside even though we were leaving. I have always shopped Hy-Vee South Sioux City. This store has turned into one giant train wreck! They are closing their wine and spirits and shoving it into the main store so that it is like the horrible Srgt Road location. Selection on all grocery items shrunk as well. Now would be a good time for Fareway to open a store in South Sioux since there are MANY people that are upset with this downgrade remodel! They have lost my business at all locations!!
