completed my course here recently and honestly wish I hadn’t wasted my money. For the price, the experience was extremely disappointing. The teaching was inconsistent, the environment felt passive-aggressive, and support was basically non-existent. Every time I asked for help, it felt like an inconvenience to the staff. I’m a student at Huxley to follow my passion and become a professional makeup artist and special fx artist on the Gold Coast. I have loved every second studying here and can not believe the amazing opportunities for work experience and networking that they have helped to provide for me, to enhance my professional experience and skillset! It’s an absolutely amazing school and everyone is so lovely and friendly, I couldn’t think of a better place to be studying for my dream job!! xx
My experience with Huxley was absolutely amazing. I had the makeup artist help with a campaign shoot and they were so lovely and professional. Highly recommend :)
The Huxley team helped me out on a recent school when none of the professional SFX Makeup artists I'd usually use were available. We were sent two of their leading students who were absolutely amazing. They did a job at the professional level that we required and our shoot was a raging success. They are obviously doing something right at this school to have such high calibre students. 10/10 Highly Recommend
