I usually have a very good experience with the other Hutches I have visited in the past, but this one was very disappointing. The drink area was messy and not wiped down, the coffee station was dirty, and even the Coney Island restaurant section was not clean. It didn’t feel like the place was being properly maintained. Cleanliness is really important, especially where food and drinks are served, and this location definitely needs improvement.
Nice gas station… gas up before continuing the journey
I don't know what happened. I used to love coming to hutch's in Clinton. Lately they have gas one day and a few days later there's none. They don't keep receipt paper in the outside gas pumps anymore and there's never any water solution to wash your windshield. I'm just going to stop going. I love the ladies that work at hutchs, now circle k, but this has become an inconvenience. I had stopped going in the late afternoon bc some new guy they hired is always rude but now I will just have to stop altogether.
The ladies and guys on the store side are pretty friendly. I know sometimes ppl have their off days so the times they seem rude, I just let it pass. The coney island side...the last two times I ordered burgers, I ask for mustard and no cheese but I get mayo and cheese. That's not something to really complain about but I should get what I ordered. I will just go to El Poko Loko for burgers from now on.
The inside fountain drinks taste horrible! I'd rather wait 15 + minutes to get one through the drive-thru! Most of the time their salads/sandwiches are made with no good lettuce. Several of the workers are rude but not all.
