My hideaway place.. it’s very secluded, easy to miss, and off grid. Not many people back there, and the views are calm, still, and pretty. To walk to the water, it’s a bit of a nature trail. It is marked and can be followed. Pay attention. I came last year 2025, and I noticed, some trees are now cut down, compared to last year. It seems like some work was done back there. Beautiful views of the bay and Long Island Sound at the end of the trail. Straightforward access from park’s ample parking lot to main trail. Some marked trails are completely overgrown with waist high grass in mid-July. Still, very welcome nature reserve in dense urban area.
