We tried several tutoring services in Pitt county before enrolling at Huntington. My 4th grader has been receiving tutoring at Huntington for over a year now. He got all A’s for the first time ever this last quarter. I attribute his success in part to the help he has received at Huntington. I cannot speak for general tutoring here, but I came to this center for SAT tutoring when I was a junior, and it was a complete waste of time. First of all, they kept trying to push me to do the ACT because the SAT was being redone, and they were claiming that no one knew what this new exam looked like. However, this was false, and I was trying to tell them that I had taken the PSAT with this new format, but for some reason, they kept insisting that no one had seen it. My son was having such a hard time in kindergarten and since starting Huntingtons for tutoring he is completely caught up and thriving! In such a short time we're so relieved and thankful that not only are his teachers commenting on this huge improvement but also that my son really enjoys going and getting a prize after all his hard work!
This place is friendly and listened to the concerns for my daughter's reading skills. She enjoys working with her tutor and is making progress at an impressive pace.
I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. My daughter has been doing tutoring for the past three years at different facilities throughout Greenville and this has been the best. It is very structured and planned out specifically for my daughter’s needs. I’m very happy we made the switch and plan on using them for all of our future needs.
