When we started with HLC, my 5th grader was reading at only a 3.5 grade level. After discussing the program/plan with Melissa, I knew this was the place for us! At the end of his 10-month program, my son was not only caught up and prepared for middle school, but he was thriving with confidence and equipped with the learning tools he needed to succeed. My daughter has been working with Huntington to boost her ACT score, and my son is working with them on his Math skills. They both have had wonderful experiences there so far, and my son in particular has already scored 20 points higher on his MAPS score. We are very pleased so far with the service and staff.
Our teenage son received top notch weekly tutoring here after he entered high school. Even though my son is a good student he still needed a little extra assistance with learning the materials (and to be more prepared for tests), in both his advanced math and science classes, since he just wasn’t getting enough out of the regular teachers lessons (or lack of lessons) at school.
