The Alexandria location of Huntington Learning Center has been a complete game changer for our family. A year ago, as our son prepared to finish 6th grade and enter middle school, we were deeply concerned about his academic performance and overall confidence. Huntington (Alexandria, VA location) has been amazing with my son who is high functioning Autistic. Because of his disability he did not talk until he was almost 6 years old, which put him significantly behind in reading which snowballed into deficits in math and all his academics. I would not recommend this tutoring place. My daughter was at Hunnington in another state for 2 yrs and received great service. The FIRST day she was there she texted me saying she needed to tell me something when I picked her up. She stated one of the tutors there was being so short and rude with a child. She said she felt so sorry for the kid. This same tutor was also rude and condescending to her when she asked questions or when he asked her questions.
