I moved out of state and branch manager would not do a wire transfer for a home closing unless I was present at the bank. Only alternative given would have taken me over two months to transfer the money. A branch manager at another Huntington location said that they would have processed it without me coming into the bank but I had to do it at the branch I opened my account.
Needed a cashiers check, Luis was a ton of help, and helped me clearly and calmly through some questions I had. Thank you!
Horrible! I deposited a check of 4500. 500 was available for use and the next day it wasn’t. What the hell was that about?? That’s the whole reason I deposited because they said 500 was available for immediate use. That’s the case I would have just cashed it at the currency exchange!
Huntington bank is awful and mismanaged, but the undertrained, uninformed employees at this branch are really trying their best. Had a friendly, helpful experience at this branch despite it being associated with the most aggressively unhelpful, apathetic company that is still legally allowed to operate on US soil.
Dear huntington. You are the worst bank I have ever encountered. You lie to your customers straight to their faces. You hold their money without telling them, you do not communicate with your reps at all, you don't give any explanation about anything and then you charge them overdraft fees for not having funds available and then don't reimburse them for your inability to handle their money.
