I recently had an issue with Huntington Bank flagging a check written to my organization as a duplicate, resulting in non-payment. I went in to close an account. No one was there who could do this. Crazy! It's so basic. They wanted me to make an appointment for the following Monday. I don't them I'd just go to another branch. I shouldn't have to do this, closing an account is so basic. Maybe this is how it is these days since needing to go to a bank is mostly unnecessary these days. But still.
Aside from lack of employees and being on the slow side the bank isnt that bad. The online side is great getting stuff done. Never had a bad experience dealing with the people in person. I do wish they had some of the stuff that tcf had like the coin machine but what can you do.
We had some account work done late on a Friday afternoon. One of the managers, Joanna, stayed late to help us out as we were on a deadline. We really appreciate her focus on finding solutions and being focused on customers.
