TL;DR: DO NOT BANK WITH HUNTINGTON. My husband and I opened a joint account with this bank on February 2nd. That same day, we deposited a $6,500 insurance check that was made out to me, my husband, and our mortgage company. The bank accepted the deposit without issue but informed us the funds would require approval from the mortgage company before they could be released. Been considering leaving for a long while now. Literally every time I come in here the energy towards me is negative. (Black male, beard, etc.) not sure if race has anything to do with it. I’m not sure what’s going on, but this ATM machine never works on the weekend. It’s kind of a bummer as you cannot withdraw your own money. I’m not sure if it runs out of money or what’s going on.. it should probably be addressed !!
