If I could go less than 1 star I would. Have had this account for over 30 years and had some fraudulent charges on the account that I alerted them to. Their solution was to freeE/close the account (OK, possibly a normal solution). However, to move forward in activating an account I was told I I hadn’t transport my 82 year old mother (who is the primary account holder) to their branch which is over a 2 hour drive away. Excellent Customer service and interaction even while not being a bank member. Kerri and the team at Walton were very helpful in guiding me towards resolving several checking questions. . The personal care has prompted me to.become a member with Huntington.
Drive over here and the stupid ATM out of service at 8:45am bank don't open until 9. And not even another ATM in the lobby. Just straight inconvenience
This 5-star review is specifically for Anastasia at the Walton, KY location—not for Huntington Bank as a whole. We have an auto loan with Huntington and needed a letter for a refinance with another bank. After getting nowhere with the 800 number (outsourced and unhelpful), we reached out to the nearest branch—4.5 hours away. Anastasia answered the phone and went above and beyond to help us remotely, and was able to help us. Thank you, Anastasia!
Closed my account for no reason after 2 days of my direct deposit hitting. I was then unable to use my money and struggled financially because of this. Then they had the nerve to make me drive to their physical location to make me pick up a check, their nearest location is an hour away. These people have no business starting checking accounts for customers and I hope this bank goes out of business for their horrible practices
