The branch manager was very helpful while we attempted to transfer balances from my bank in Virginia into recently opened Huntington accounts. He always made time to see me in his office and understood my frustrations. Rhiannon Ott became the shining star in what turned out to be an 8 week ordeal. From the teller window we worked together to finalize the transfers. Huntington bank was not the culprit in any of this. The bank in Virginia was unbelievably hard to work with. Terrible bank. Customer service is awful. If there's a mistake on there end they blame the customer first. The prejudice at this bank is god awful. Its seems like they are being told to trust anybody that has an account with them.

I just read an article about Huntington Bank calling the police on Mr. McCowns for legally attempting to cash his first paycheck. (Direct deposit often does not begin immediately upon starting a new job. ) Although the false accusation by Huntington Bank was obvious prejudice, this bank has a long history of harassing people of all races attempting to cash Huntington Bank checks at Huntington Bank.
