Went into the branch today to open a checking account and apply for the World Elite credit card but was turned away because the employee at the drive thru didn't want to open an account today. I was told to go to a different branch or apply online. They checked the schedule at the other branch and said it was booked. I just tried to open an account online and says I need to be verified in person. I work at a credit union M-F 8-5pm so coming in during the week is not an option for me. The man who works at the front counter is very unpleasant and seriously lacking in the knowledge of his profession.
I thought this bank was great, it is not. I've been given the run around on early pay for the last 2 weeks. I called customer service, they said go to the bank. I go to the bank they said call customer service. I called customer service again they said I may or may not be eligible, they have no way of telling. But the website says they do. Funny thing is my co worker who gets paid the same way i do even uses huntington got paid yesterday. Hmmm.
