Prepaid my commercial account, instead of applying to principle account they put in a seperate account and made monthly payments to avoid letting me save the interest, and never let that savings account collect interest.. so in the end the loan cost me an extra 5k, they said the account was short..
Huntington is straight trash now! Current leadership has failed this once respectable company. Use Fidelity instead.
**EDIT december 30th, 2025** AGAIN, cannot get anuone to answer the phone online AND at local branch. We are looking at moving all our business to a smaller bank that cares about it customers. **EDIT March 31, 2025** It seems that you can never get anybody to answer the phone. I do not advise anyone to bank with Huntington. After receiving my paycheck my account was short money. They also try to confuse you by putting any refunds at the bottom of your checking account so they can show less money in your account. I will definitely be getting direct deposit elsewhere. I definitely cannot trust them to be truthful. I called in to report the issue and they went quiet and hung up on my face. I had a client send me a Zelle payment two days ago. The money was taken from her account and never appeared in mine. Complete radio silence. Client sent over the confirmation number and everything. I have called Huntington multiple times and, surprise, they have no answers. I am genuinely shocked that Huntington is able to get away with this theft. Stay far, far away from this shady bank at ALL costs! Do yourself a favor and never, ever open up an account with these fraudsters.
