I rented from Peter Baker for several years. When I moved out, I asked for an itemized list of deductions from my security deposit. Instead of receiving it within the 14 days required under New York law, I was threatened with legal action twice just for inquiring. When I did finally receive the list, it included charges for items that were already in poor condition when I moved in, such as a broken microwave and stained curtains. I had problem with Peter Baker’s professionalism in 2021 when we were purchasing our property in Dundee. Please be AWARE stay away from this law firm and do not hire Peter Baker for anything. I wish I had seen genuine reviews like when when I hired this law firm. Peter Baker is an UNPROFESSIONAL disguised as a professional. He made us feel comfortable by phone call but was a completely different person when we met him. Beware.
