My mother has lived at Hummingbird for 6 months. I moved her from a different facility, in Tucson, and I’m so glad I did! The facility is beautiful and the staff are wonderful! My mother is a bit of an introvert, so doesn’t join in for many of the activities, but she lives the bingo games and there’s always something going on! Just moved my sister in law into their independent living. She is in a double room and loves it. We've been escorting her down to eat the last 2 days or so. The food looks and smells really good. 2day we joined her for lunch, an early Xmas meal, steak and lobster. It was ve ry good. I am impressed with the facility and friendly people there.

My mom's apartment was beautifully done. Food is beyond excellent.Very friendly staff! Communication could be better so could cleanliness. That's the reason for 4 stars.

My momma has been a resident at Hummingbird for several weeks. She is flourishing there and loves being there. Everyone is so incredibly on top of things.And she is watched over with excellent care. I as her daughter and care taker am so tickled with her being at Hummingbird.

This place is awful when it comes to communication. My grandfather lives over there and he's blind so it's hard to get ahold of him sometimes and when you call the front desk (or anywhere) no one answers. Also gotta love when there is supposed to be security guards or a front desk person to assist you and no one's around. I walked in a look for someone for 10 mins. before someone popped out of nowhere to ask what I needed. Super safe especially since they have all the door of the residents cracked all the time.
