I was skeptical of putting my loved one in a care home until I toured the Hummingbird Retreat in Scottsdale, AZ. At that moment, I knew this was the place for our loved one. Hummingbird Retreat is like the home that is caring, kind, considerate and always there to help in everyway. From the few visits, we have made to your "Retreat", we have been impressed with the staff, the peacefull, beatiful atmosphere and the comfortable rooms and common area for the residents! It is a joy to visit our friend there...

In February of 2026 our sister was in need of more care than we could provide, following a hospitalization after a fall. She needed wound care, proper nutrition and supervision due to the onset of dementia. We found everything we needed for that critical period at Hummingbird Retreat. The wound care was excellent, as was the protein-focused food—just what she needed for her specific situation.
