As a former employee of Hummingbird Retreat, I can only state the once in a lifetime experience I had there. The culture in the home promoted the development of friendships not just between the residents but between the residents and their caregivers. This had a really powerful impact on both employees and residents. The owner herself was always attentive to the needs of the residents and took the time to hear concerns from both residents and caregiver, fostering a positive environment for people to both live and work in.

As a mobile provider that have been to many facilities throughout the state. Hummingbird retreat is top notch. The home is very warm and inviting. It's clean and spacious. The staff are verify friendly and caring. Nothing beats a nurse owned and operated home. The owner truly cares for each and every resident.

My 1st visit to Hummingbird Retreat, I observed how happy the residents, their families and the Care Team were. I have made several more visits to Hummingbird Retreat over the past 7 or 8 months. The residents and their families love the Care Team and their home. Meagan, thank you for creating a living environment of love and respect. Our Home Health providers have provided care to residents of Hummingbird Retreat and have all had great experiences with the leadership and the team of staff there. The Owner Meagan is always super inviting into her wonderful home even when she is busy helping staff and her residents. Everytime I have made visits the house has been very well kept and everyone was polite and welcoming. Keep up the amazing work helping our community.
