Gotta Be FIVE Stars... I must admit, I have never had the pleasure of getting to Hummer's yet. However, my daughter works near there and RAVES about how great their products are. Apparently family owned and operated (GO for the little guys!!!). She says customer service is outstanding and it must be fast because she only has a short period of time to get there and get back to work and eat. Great Local Butcher My partners and I own a restaurant in Mount Joy and feature Hummer's steaks every weekend. Jeff Hummer is very knowledgeable about his meats and strives to give his customers a quality product. If you don't already buy your meats from Hummer's you're making a mistake not to!
Quality Meat This is a local butcher with great quality meats. Hummers frequently offers sale prices and fresh turkeys and hams at the holidays. Hummers also has meat packages available. The store is rather small but they do carry some fresh produce in the summertime. Also you can place an order over the phone and just stop by the store to pick it up great convenience.
Excellent Meats Hummer's meats is a great local shop to buy your meats from. They have quality meat at pretty reasonable prices. They are a little more expensive than other places like grocery stores but their products are more fresh and better tasting also. They have wonderful meat and I love to get my meats from there because I know they will be fresh and great tasting.
Hummer's Meats I have enjoyed Hummer's Meats for years. I live in Lititz but still try to get to Mount Joy for my meats. Everything in the store is always fresh and high quality. Jeff makes a fresh kielbasa that is out of this world. Very friendly staff and a hot food section if your looking for a quick lunch.
