This review is regarding Karen Hummel: I’ve talked with Karen in the beginning of January 2022. She was very helpful up until I gave her my payment. Day after day I would contact her for updates and she would not contact me back. It was lack of communication multiple times. She’ll tell me that she was in court and would call me back later, her husband caught Covid so she couldn’t meet me and now she had minor surgery. If I could give negative stars I would, From the start I should of known Attorney Hummel wasn't a good fit when she didn't show up to court at all the first time and showed up almost two hrs late the next hearing. She never responds in a timely many, most times she would either not respond at all or respond weeks later after I've continuously reached out. Response to Karen: the unused retainer balance is the entire balance; you kept a few hundred for yourself for doing nothing- you completely ghosted us after you took our money even though you knew it was a short time frame we needed! We were never your clients legally; you never even sent us a client agreement. We paid Karen a retainer - she used square over the phone (first red flag) to file a motion.
