Not a friendly place-- shop elsewhere. Not a friendly place. I always try to shop local when possible and even though cigars online may be cheaper, buying at a local shop usually also gives you some personal assistance. I've been to many cigar stores and this place has to be the worst. In nearly 15 visits, only one worker has been friendly. The rest of the employees dont say a word as they take my money - all they do is reinforce my thinking in this instance, its not worth it to shop local. Online is cheaper anyway.
Huge selection! When my husband is looking for something specific pertaining to cigars, we head up to Timonium and the Humidour Cigar Shop. Their selection is unmatched locally, in my experience, and their staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices are pretty average, but not exorbitant. Parking is plentiful and they take special orders if you need something specific.
First Impressions Count! As newcomers to Maryland, I went online to locate a nice cigar shop where I could buy some gifts for my cigar-loving husband. After traveling to 5 other cigar shops I found online, within a 20 miles radius of our home, I was totally frustrated and disappointed with what I had seen until I drove the extra mileage to the Humidour Cigar Shop in Cockeysville. Great Place I found this place looking for a new cigar shop. This place is a step above all of the others. I enjoy the family feel and large selection of cigars. The best shop that I have found.
A Smokers Safe Haven, for now! Since the ban went into effect, it seems as if there are only 2 places you can smoke, your own home, and smoke shops. The Humidour cigar shop just recently moved from Timonium to Cockeysville and at least tripled their space for now. Their lounge area now holds about 16-20 people in comfort and there is a large screen TV and 2 other flat panels hanging on the wall to enjoy.
