Fabulous little bike shop!! Associate working there was so friendly and we had an amazing conversation about the area and biking. If we lived here this would for sure be our bike shop and we will definitely rent from them/go on one of their tours on our next trip here!

Silver Birch Cycles is a great place to rent a bike in the Saranac Lake region. Justin, the owner, is a super nice and very knowledgeable guy about outdoor recreation using both non-electric and electric bikes. This is my second time renting a bike from him. It’s the most pleasant and easy experience. The rates are very reasonable and he and his staff are very professional. okay experience but not great. I called and reserved 3 bikes. Two days later I called and wanted to change the date. The person I spoke with said he would make the change and call me back and confirm the change. He never did so I had to call again to confirm. I was told during my initial call that the price was $40 for 1/2 day (4 hours) and $80 for a full day (8 hours). Justin charged us $60 for 4 hours. When I explained the mix-up, he told me the price is $60 not $40 and told me to check the website if I didn't believe him.... read more
