This lively spot in the heart of River Street is located on the street level of the River Street Inn. A spirited bar is surrounded by a low-lit assortment of tables, opening up onto an extensive patio that lines the sidewalk for open air dining. Bayou cooking dominates the menu, with regional favorites from New Orleans such as beignets for breakfast, muffaletta sandwiches (or the veggie muffaletta) for lunch, and Pan-Fried Pork Chops for dinner. Don't miss the traditional red beans and rice, which comes with most entrees.

Very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious 😋
Bad service. Placed an order at the bar that was never put in. No apology. I was basically ignored most of the time. It’s not the mistake. It’s the lack of service and her nonchalant, dismissive attitude. Won’t be returning.
Great food, great service!
started with the gumbo. well that was nowhere's near a gumbo. It tasted like a chili based sauce with sausage and chicken over rice. I couldn't finish my jambalaya pasta, it was tomatoey with shrimp and sausage. The shrimp were tender but the whole dish was just blah. My wife got her red beans and rice taken off. It tasted like a can of red beans mashed up with chicken broth poured over rice with 2 pieces of sausage on the side. The sangrias were okay. But I have to say I don't see how they got ranked high, that is what made... read more
Everything we have had is excellent. The both Muffulettas, Cajun gumbo, all breakfast and the Beignets are fabulous!
Entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive (Especially our waitress, Ariel). We ate breakfast here all 3 mornings of our stay at the river Street Inn. We tried different food each morning, and everything was AMAZING! Will eat here again on next visit! (Try the chicken pain perdue - fried chicken on french toast with sriracha syrup mmm)
How about NO service. No acknowledgement after sitting there for 15 min. Left and got two drinks at the Warehouse and still NO server came to our table while I was gone. This place has seen better days. DO NOT go to this establishment!
Staff were excellent. Had a great lunch. The bread on the po’ boys was fresh and firm. Sides were good and the beignets were a great way to finish. Would go back anytime.
Our server Kevin was top notch!
