Your website says this firm is client-centered and relationship-based. Unfortunately I did not received this experience on my case. The communication from my lawyer was absolutely terrible. Extremely lazy with collecting necessary documents needed for my case. I was not expecting such a lackluster work ethic and terrible experience from a law firm in Wheaton. I would not recommend Huck Bouma’s Wheaton law firm to anyone.
I reached out to this law firm over a week ago regarding estate planning and left a voicemail but never received a return call. I followed up with a second phone call and spoke with someone who told me they would be emailing me the necessary paperwork, but I never received anything or any follow-up communication. I understand that firms can get busy, but not returning calls or following up after saying paperwork would be sent is simply rude and unprofessional.
