As with most reviews already on here, this place has required insurance and unless your insurance is on a list that they have at the office of 10 providers then they wont accept anything else. They told me its basically in the fine print that insurance is required and you either needs one of those providers or pay for their very expensive insurance. I had to pay another 400 USD to rent the car for the week after the initial paid fee for the car its self. Very slimy! Will never rent here again.

COMPLETELY TRASH Please stay away from this company! We booked for a Toyota MIDSIZE SUV but when we get there they told us, they do not have it. So, which means on the contract said rent a similar size, right. But NO they gave us an Effin COMPACT SUV! I didn’t want to argue, I said it’s ok. And after I’m about to pay, they said I owe them $500+ bcoz of the INSURANCE COST LIKE $50 A DAY!!! 🤬 I’m filling a case for them if anyone of you have the same problem please let me know. DO NOT rent from this company!!! They are scamming people out of lots of extra charges. There are many additional costs added at the counter. They would not accept our car insurance even though our insurance guy, who was on the phone, said we were completely covered for car rentals. We had to pay almost $300 extra for their insurance. We also had our own SunPass and they wouldn’t let us use it…we had to pay for theirs. Avoid this rental car company. We were at the check out counter for over an hour. They said the delay was due to computer issues. In addition we were charged an additional $250 because we didn't get their insurance and we have a $500 deductible. When asked if it was refunded if we didn't have an accident the answer was NO. We wanted to cancel our reservation however our $ was non-refundable.I plan to contact the better business bureau with concerns of this company.Hub car rental doesn't even deserve a one star rating.
