My go to place for MTB and Road
Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere — no complaints there. However, the mechanical work was disappointing. I came in to have a freewheel replaced and the crank tightened. The rear wheel was not aligned properly afterwards, the chain was over-tensioned, and the crank loosened again after two weeks. When I returned to have the crank tightened, I was told it couldn’t be done because the mechanic who worked on it wasn’t there. I ended up having to fix it myself in the shop. The Super Bike Shop in Christchurch provides great service — very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased to deal with the professional and approachable staff there, particularly the manager, Odie. He not only fixed the issues with my bike but also gave me very helpful advice. Highly recommended!
