I’ve been rolling on my bike I bought from Meg at Hub City Cycles since June of 2019. My husband also scored a fantastic vintage Schwinn bike at Hub City Cycles! Meg has always kept my family’s bikes tuned up well and ready for every festival and outing since that time. She even tuned us up to send us on our way to move to Richmond, VA in January of this year. The owner was working and she was informative and very helpful in assisting us with choosing a bicycle that fits my needs as well accessories such as helmet and bicycle lock. She is very practical and humorous. We were considering buying a bike for my husband also, but he is due to have bilateral knee surgeries in a few months, so she said he would be better off buying one after his surgery.
Amazing friendly service! Bought my bike a while back and was given a lot of help with the right size and style. Recently had to go back when my wheels were stolen and she was extremely helpful and got me everything I needed. ordered, installed and I felt very taken care of. Good vibes in here too, for what it’s worth.
This is the ONLY place to shop for a bike. The products they carry are top quality. Any issues I have had were addressed promptly and in a professional manner. I appreciate the honesty of the employees and willingness to help. The owner has done an amazing job of training them but also running a business where everyone is treated equally
As anecdotal reference I sold my car in 2016 and have strictly ridden bikes as daily transportation since then. Meg at Hub City has been my go to for any and all help and has been a literal lifesaver at times. She often goes above and beyond and expects no extra payment in return. She truly embodies southern hospitality and does much to help make Lafayette such a wonderful home and community.
