I've used the Drs at HSS for years and they're great. I had a prescription for PT this year. I called the HSS PT office several times for PT. No one picked up my call, and I has dumped into a VM box everytime. After no return calls for a month, I called the hospital # and asked them to connect me with the PT and explained the problem I had reaching anyone or getting a return call. I signed up for Physical Therapy at 535 East 70th Street to deal with a hip flexor issue. i was assigned to Marlena. It was not a good experience. She showed me some exercises to do at home, spent a lot of time writing notes and never manipulated my hip flexor or leg to try and increase my mobility. I am now doing PT at East End Physical Therapy in East Hampton, NY and what a difference. The staff is so knowledgeable, hands on, and creates a customized program based on your issues.
