Extremely poor customer service at HSBC Chadstone. I submitted documents online to open a new account, but the account was not opened properly. I visited the Chadstone branch for help, but instead of resolving the issue while I was there, the staff simply told me to re-apply with a different ID. After re-applying, the account was opened. I deposited money and made a few purchases, but then HSBC suddenly locked my online banking access without giving me any clear explanation. Haily provided excellent customer service. She helped my banking with fast, secure and thoughtful support. HSBC’s system might need improvements for retail banking, but responsive customer service and proactive attitude represented by employees increase the reputation of HSBC. Thumbs up for Haily :)
Excellent friendly and professional service
The only resort is that meeting a HSBC in person is more helpful than near useless (actually, useless both calls and site chats) conversations at 1300 with their officers located overseas. Regrettably, this bank sinks down, as in my opinion, progressively.
