I have banked with many financial institutions and I can confidently say that HSBC is the worst bank I have ever dealt with! Poor customer service, representatives who have no clue about the bank's offerings (I had to inform them about their services!), errors in accounting, the list goes on and on. Switched to CapitalOne and it is like heaven and hell! Stay away from this financial institution if you want your business to succeed! If you want to sabotage your business then this is the right bank for you.
Why are they in existance. Terrible security protocol. A year ago someone apparently got a hold of my ATM card number and used it 3 times at a 7-11 totaling $7500 (as a purchase - I guess 7-11 must have been in on it as how can you spend this amount of money there) and their security never caught this. Mind you this happened on the other side of the country. It took weeks to get this resolved. It took 2 weeks to get a replacement card and they refused to send it expedited even though I am a premier account holder. The funny ... read more

Imagine a terribile banking experience, HSBC is 10 times worse. Absolute lack of transparency, terrible customer support that bounces you around from one department to another in circles. Save yourself time and nerve cells and choose another bank.
