I strongly recommend that entrepreneurs avoid RBC for business banking. They attract you with offers like a $300 incorporation discount through Ownr, but once you’re in, the experience is extremely frustrating. RBC is not business-friendly and makes even simple operations unnecessarily complicated. From the start, I had issues. Someone made a mistake in my credit card application, and one of the documents signed at the branch was incorrect. The credit card team flagged it and required a re-sign — but nobody contacted me.
