Unfortunately I don’t know why they work there!!!!!!!!!! They didn’t do anything I had to go another branch and they did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After banking with HSBC for over 30 years, and following several years of exceptionally sub-standard service, we moved all of our personal, business and investment accounts to a competitor (NOT RBC!) well in advance of RBC's purchase of HSBC. Previous experience with RBC suggested that their "service" will be equally inferior and frustrating, while our new financial institution has provided nothing less than superlative, personalized service and ease of transactions - both personal and online.
After banking with HSBC for over 30 years, I will be moving all of my banking to a competitor based on the deplorable service at this branch and the South Surrey branch. This branch, located in the centre of White Rock and surrounded by towers, has two teller stations - and only one on duty any time I've been there. Not once have I been successfully assisted. Avoid both at all costs.
Avoid!!! Drive to the next nearest HSBC. Truly terrible service. I've only had to go in twice. Both times I left shocked by the degree of coldness, inefficiency, and disrespect; it epitomized terrible customer service. I plan to never return to this location.
Too many personal questions to open an account. Such as do I rent or own and whether I carry a mortgage. Exact date of retirement. As if any of this matters, I just want to open an account not become their friend. Canadian part of banking business up for sale any how.
