WROST bank in my experience! I recently opened Premier Checking account with HSBC. They immediately suspended online login, then visited bank to get it unlock. After 15 days account is available. Deposited check using mobile and again they suspended account. WROST security team!!! They do not understand customer important. if they do not want to accept deposits, why it is called premier checking....??? or why I need BANK, or why mobile app??? WROST customer care!!!
I gave HSBC many tries but every time they just failed perfectly. After a month of emailing them and 7- 8 different phone calls, I got at least 5 different answers to one question, and the other people just told me they had no idea. It sounded like they just wanted to get off the phone when I called. Completely disappointed, I decided to close my account. I couldn't close it over phone so I went to the bank in person, but it took me 3 visits over a month to finally get my account closed.
We'd like to thank HSBC banker Owen Wong for his effort in helping us resolve an issue with our overseas account. He went above and beyond what a regular banker would do in resolving a complex issue that they don't typically see in a local account here. His colleagues were also very helpful in expediting the process. In the end, Owen made the biggest effort and we really appreciate it.
Terrible time trying to access my on line savings account I recently started. Hours on the phone wasted, on hold for hours, people on the phone difficult to understand and totally unhelpful. Two days messing with this bank I'll never get back and they still have my $
