Very helpful.
My Dad passed way, and I tried to take his money out. The branch manager either doesn’t want to help or doesn’t know how to handle this situation. She asked me to get a court order. But I told her that, in California, if the amount is less than $150k, it’s not necessary to go to the court. But she said HSBC is an international bank, it has its own rules. However, two months later, I tried the Milpitas branch, they took care of me in less than an hour.
Gary is the relationship manager at this branch. He is very knowledgeable about what the bank has to offer. Also a very nice and friendly person. I had to use the counter service for a couple of times. The staff was friendly and efficient. The branch is small but very clean. I love doing business with them.
