My HSBC account had been blocked for some reason. I initially visited the Chatswood Branch seeking assistance to have it unblocked. Unfortunately, the lady officer who attended to me was rather rude and unhelpful, and the issue was not resolved. On a later date, I visited the Castle Hill Branch for the same purpose. Horrible customer service
Staff ask too many personal questions. I felt very uncomfortable. It’s very weird and confronting to be asked all these personal questions by someone you have just met. My personal information is private. It should be on a need to know basis. I’m just there to bank my money and access my money. I’m having second thoughts about HSBC.
I get great service that is why I still bank with HSBC.
