Horrible experience, don't go to this branch! I have been using HSBC for many years, never had problems with depositing money before, they asked for the receipt of the red pocket money, so when family and relatives give you red pocket, we need to ask for the receipt if we are willing to deposit it to the HSBC account, the woman replied YES! They don't even know what they are doing! Very disappointed with the service!
I visited the HSBC branch at Castle Hill today to open a USD account, but my experience was horrifying. The agent at the reception said it wasn’t possible and gave me a long list of reasons why, most of which I could easily overcome to get the account opened. This is so stupid way! When I want to put some deposit, first you have to wait the receptionist to register ( give all the details: name BSB Account No.) Then ask you wait again until cashier call you. Then you give the name BSB Account again to the cashier. Double job extra staff…….low Efficiency
Horrible customer service and blatant misinformation. My elderly mother visited this HSBC branch seeking help to open a USD account, and not only was she refused assistance, but she was also given completely incorrect information about making a simple cash deposit. The deposit in question was well under the $10,000 AUD threshold, yet staff made false claims implying legal or compliance issues that simply do not apply.
