After being told to review my taxes to schedule a call, I had to pay in order to see what was prepared, then a call was never scheduled with my tax preparer. Still have questions relating to my 2024 filing and am being ghosted thru HR portal. Won't be using again.
I cannot recommend this H&R Block branch office. They made a mistake resulting in us overpaying by $1,200. Instead of fixing it, they accused another company of fraud. We were promised expert service and did not receive it. We were promised a refund of our filing fees and did not receive it. What we did receive 14 months later is the $1,200 in overpayment because the IRS caught H&R Block's mistake and made it right.
Lori was less than helpful. She made a decision to mail me a paper check instead of communicating and asking how I wanted to receive my refund.
Last year I Went in three times to correct IRS income for 2021 and was given false information. Most importantly wasted hours of my time with multiple visits. Tip do not go to tax place it is a complete waste of time just call the IRS directly. Correction my taxes were butchered in 2021 at the placerville hr block and then here in El Cajon decided to give me totally incorrect information and the IRS is charging me interest and penalties meanwhile for years of debt that I didn’t know I have until the IRS tells me 2 years late... read more
