We worked with Maliheh, and unfortunately our experience was not positive. Her main focus was repeatedly asking us to leave a review, rather than properly explaining important information such as how we can manage our taxes for next year. At the end of the appointment, there were multiple transactions totalling around $800 that went through because she tapped the card several times without realizing it processed. As a new client (for myself and my Mom), I cannot say enough good things about this location. I was so impressed with Zara in reception when I came in. She was dealing with four walk-ins, people on the phone and two clients that were finishing up their documents. She was efficient, friendly and so accommodating to people’s various needs and concerns. Outrageously expensive for what they do. Charged me an extra $400 for capital gains assessment but didn’t tell me until after they had done it. The lady that helped me was helpful enough, but it was a lot of money, and the extra $400 for filling in a couple extra fields feels like a racket, honestly. I’ll just do it myself next year and save almost $1,000. I removed another star for the crappy copy-paste response.
I’ve been working with Maliheh at this H&R Block branch for four years, and she has been handling my taxes ever since. I’m extremely satisfied with her work. She explains everything clearly, takes her time, and is very thorough and detail-oriented. I truly recommend her.
