I have been going here for over a decade and thought I'll get a bit of love back, but now I see H & R is ALL about the money, I'd like to say sorry to the girl working the desk (find a new job, you don't deserve the crap this place is going to put you through)
Incompetend staff. I am very disappointed in competence of their staff and the fees they are charging are ridicules. The lady we saw today at Rockwood Mall couldn't spell my son's name "Matthew" even after 5 attemps to tell her I had to point out on screen to correct. Then, she wrote my daughter's birth year as 1920 Instead of 2020. After that we had my son's private school expence where she had no idea what to do with it. I'm extremely disappointed with H&R Block and Lawrence. Their fees are outrageous, and their service is subpar. I paid a whopping amount for a simple tax return, which was significantly higher than what I was quoted initially. The tax preparer seemed rushed and uninterested in my questions or concerns. They failed to explain the charges clearly, and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. The entire experience left a sour taste in my mouth. These people make you feel so uncomfortable and charge double.
H&R Block, overpriced and scamming people at multiple locations. Their reputation is quickly going down hill.
