I was helped by Zheng and I was honestly super disappointed- she was not very helpful and there was a complete lack of transparency in pricing. My partner paid $120 to get his taxes done but she charged me $170 just because I had a T5 slip and never even told me about the price difference. I would’ve been okay paying the price difference but the lack of transparency makes me not want to go back to H&R block and to definitely not have Zheng do my taxes.
I have used this location for several years, and have a bad habit of bringing my taxes to them at the last minute. This year was no different, except that the receptionist would not accept my business this year. I explained that I understood they were busy and that my taxes could not be completed before the deadline. I asked her to please have someone do them when they could. This location grossly mishandled my taxes from the previous year, causing me to owe alot of money to the CRA, refused to help me when I returned this year.
I tried waiting and people just looked at me. I have a business that needs assistance with a business tax return. I waited for 45 minutes the other day, and the lady that was on the phone was being rude to people on the phone and didn’t pay no attention to me. I went to Bonnie Doon and they helped me there. These people looked at me like I was interrupting their day. Please stay away from this place. Regards, Curtis L
As a service provider, H&R Block fell short of expectations. Their tax preparation process was cumbersome and their staff seemed untrained, resulting in errors in my return. Additionally, the customer service was lacking, with long wait times and unhelpful representatives. Overall, a disappointing experience and the person on the phone were exceptionally rude, racist and towards me. Please don’t hire bigots guys.
