I have a slightly more complicated tax return and was only informed upon arrival that a first year person would be doing my taxes because it was a Saturday. This information should be available online. Also, the receptionist kept touching her nose and then touching all of my documents. Perhaps these are petty concerns, but it contributed to me walking away and not using their services.
We didn't have an appointment booked, but they managed to fit us in. We were in and out under half hour, and for $12 extra on top of their fees we walked out with a tax return in hand. Prices have gone up and for a 2 person jointly filed return it was almost $190. I didn't like that....I remember 2 people filing jointly was $120-150. There seems to have been a huge jump this year.
My wife and i took taxes in to be done and was qouted over 300. By Receptionist after the fact stating that filing late in april and severl t4s will cost more .. fyi tax season is not over till end of april ! so they are just milking people . one block away we got taxes done and done well for under 200. We also asked if they charge MORE for filing mid april (they said why would it cost more its tax season🤣) That speaks loudly
