I went to this H&R Block location specifically for the advertised “Instant Refund” and made that clear before starting. After completing the entire process, I was told I would receive my refund in March and that instant refunds are not available for new customers — something that was never disclosed beforehand. I went to H&R Block here for the first time to file my self-employed taxes. After they filed my taxes they told me that I would have to pay extra $80 if I wanted them to file my GST return. This should have been made clear at the beginning especially since I told them that this is my first time filing business taxes and with H&R block. They said I can do it myself as it is very simple. Which I think is outrageous after paying $450 for filing the taxes that I could have gotten filed for less than half of what I paid here. Ver... read more
