I paid H&R Block $345.00 dollars to mess up my 2024 taxes… we had May completely mess up my taxes… instead of doing them correctly…she filed my taxes with the state and federal and in a few weeks the federal came back and said it’s incomplete and instead of getting a refund you owe $3400. So I went back down there and a Spanish lady redid my taxes with the feds but I did wind up paying over $3400 dollars…since Marjorie left this place went to hell!! Absolute garbage place now that Marjorie isn’t there anymore. I went to pick up my taxes and my 98 year old mother’s taxes today. Mine weren’t prepared AT ALL despite having dropped them off two weeks ago, and they “forgot” to file my mother’s state tax. Not a single phone call, other than someone who barely spoke English, who called to say how much it was going to be. Absolute garbage place, avoid at all costs.
10/10 Recommend!! First time using HR Block to file taxes and will definitely use this service in the future. Tax time is so stressful and scary but filing with a tax pro just put both my husband and I at ease. We used Joni Nodes and she is a amazing. She was polite, professional, responsive, and super helpful. She broke down for us what every meant so we can not only get our taxes done, but have a better idea of how it all works. She will absolutely be our go-to specialist for next year. Thanks Joni!
