I dropped my taxes off mid March and they didn't even begin them until April 14th after I made 6 phone calls trying to get in touch with my preparer to make sure she would get them in on time. I asked for a manager to get in contact with me 3 times and never received a call. I was told by my preparer that she didn't even intend to have them done by April 15th because she has "500 other clients". I have never experienced anything as unprofessional, careless, or stressful as my recent experience at H&R Block with tax preparer Hayoon Cheon. My wife and I went in on March 21st with every required document neatly organized — W‑2s, all 1099s including the 1095‑HC, and even my final pay stub showing overtime hours. The appointment started well, but that was the last moment anything went right. Didn’t even go here. Booked a month ago and called in today to check if Suman can attend me for meditation. She outright said no she cannot. This after a month of waiting is ridiculous to say the least.
I love working with Suman who has done my taxes for 16 years.
