Paid $440 for tax prep and everything seemed fine at first. After they added a missing form, my numbers changed significantly which raised concerns about accuracy. I asked for a review and got a second opinion from another CPA and the numbers were very different. At that point I no longer felt comfortable filing with them and requested a refund or partial refund of the 440 fee. Went in to get help with making an amendment on last years taxes. Kala told us she could help but that we would need to file this years taxes first then come back. Half way through she said if her next appointment doesn't come she can help with the amendment from last year too. She seemed unsure of how to enter our Paid Leave Oregon documents and that was a red flag to me.
