Be very careful about who you let prepare/amend your taxes because H&R will not help you beyond filling. We had our taxes amended in 2020 from 2019 and what a nightmare it has been. It was never accepted and H&R has turned there back on us.
Do not work with Lynda. Terrible communication and professionalism. Disorganized and evasive. Ignores accountability and glosses over things. I could go on. After seeing the other negative reviews here saying the same things, I wish I'd checked sooner. It was a terrible experience and I exited because Lynda, no matter how many times I tried to schedule an appointment, would ignore my requests for an advisory and strategy call on my business taxes before preparing them. Wouldn’t recommend this place. I came in around 2 o’clock and was recommended to come back the next day when there were plenty of folks available. Not the reason for the low review. I asked her what documents I should bring, and she made a pretty simple list. I asked her if I should claim anything such as my home office. The tax representative for HR block immediately made this political and told me to thank Obama for passing a bill that removed what you could claim on your taxes.
